George Peppard and George Hamilton appear in early-career roles. THE SUNDOWNERS (1960) – Australian drovers Paddy (Mitchum) and Ida (Deborah Kerr) Carmody have freedom, adventure and love. But the devoted couple is suddenly at odds: Ida wants them to have a farm of their own, and Paddy finds settling down too much for his untethered spirit.
