Description
Walter (Timothy Bottoms the Last Picture Show) is a teenage boy adrift in life a daydreamer surrounded by a family of successes. Sent to Spain to study Walter escapes on a tour bus and meets Lila (two-time Academy Award-« winner Maggie Smith 1969 Best Actress the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie; 1978 Best Supporting Actress California Suite) a repressed British woman with problems of her own. As they travel through Spain their awkward relationship evolves from silence to friendship to romance. But as they become closer to each other Lila must deal with a secret she has kept from Walter one that will test their love.
