Description
“My Fair Munster” the first official pilot produced but unaired in 1964 . Filmed in Color , this pilot features a slightly different cast with Joan Marshall as Phoebe ( not Lilly ) Munster and Happy Derman as Eddie.
This short segment is the only known surviving footage. Next the complete 17 minute black and white version of that pilot.
Following that is the unaired version of the second pilot that sold the series with the familiar 1964-66 cast.
This unaired version has different music , titles and make up, most noticible in Eddies hair style.
Completing the dvd is a 1965 Munsters Cheerios commercial with the series cast , a CBS promo for “The Munsters at Marineland” special which aired April 18 1965 and the theatrical trailer for “Munster go Home!”
This item is a manufactured-on-demand release. Using recordable CDs & DVDs, the label who owns the rights to these MOD releases, custom burns discs for each order sold. Most titles previously had a pressed release but have lapsed out of print and are now only available on these MOD discs.
